Jinora looked up from her book at the sound of footsteps, a soft smile coming over her face as she saw her father. Carefully marking her place in the pages, she placed the object down next to her before hopping off the bench and running to embrace Tenzin. “Hey, Dad. How was your day?”
His eldest daughter’s smile lifted his heart, and Tenzin smiled. “Hello, Jinora,” he said warmly, placing his arms on his Jinora’s young shoulders in a calm embrace. “Busy,” he smiled in reply. “I’ve been running around all day. How is your book?”

“I hope everything’s going alright,” Jinora said as she leaned into her father’s side, happy to have him back home. The adults tried to keep it from the children, but she had still heard the whispers of bad things happening in Republic City. She couldn’t even imagine if - but no, she wouldn’t think about that, her father was safe and here in the now and that was all that mattered. “My book’s going great; I’m re-reading the history of the Hundred-Year War. It’s still had to imagine that Gran Gran was actually there for all of it.”

Hey Jinora
Hello, Korra! How’s your airbending coming along?
…….I’m working on it.

I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually - but maybe if you actually tried to calm yourself during meditation, you might start to understand it better.
